Using
Google Adsense is one of the best way to money online. However, this is apply
to webmaster only (someone who run website). PPC is the short form of Pay Per
Click, in other words the advertiser will pay for their advertising for each
click that they received. The amount will be different between each key word
and between the advertisers. I point out Google Adsense here is because I am
very comfortable with this PPC and from my own experience, Google Adsense
generate more income to me compared to other type of associate program. For

How to get most benefit from Google Adsense?
1. Get the quality traffic to your site.
Quality traffic is the visitor that really interested in the topic
of your website. For example, if you run a website about pet birds (just an
example), then the visitor of your site should be the visitor that like pet
birds and is looking for pet birds information. Quality traffic can be obtain
from most search engine and link page from other site. Traffic from ‘exit
exchange’ normally not a quality traffic, they may searching for something
else but your site just pop up in front of them.
I would like to stress on quality traffic here because only
quality traffic will bring you the most revenue from Google Adsense program.
Well, I put it this way, (lets back to the pet birds site) if I am looking for
information about my pet birds and I visit a pet birds site, I will more
likely to click on the advertisement about “pet birds”. If in any case I
am looking for pet birds information but I run into another site, say about
car… I will less likely to click on the advertisements on this page (and
even other link).
2. Use correct ‘word’, in your article.
Google Adsense will ‘scan’ your site and based on the site it
will give you appropriate advertisement. I will give one example, lets say
your website topic is about gardening. Your site and article in the website
should be about gardening and not mixed with other topic, say half of them is
gardening and half of the article is about computer!
Website that is not belongs to one topic will not get the best
benefit. This is because the advertisement on the page will depend on the
topic in the page. If the topic didn’t good and have no focus, it is
difficult for us to get appropriate advertisement on our site. Inappropriate
advertisement will mean less click and of course less income!
The article must also have appropriate ‘word’ on it. Say if
your page is about gardening, use simple word and not any unfamiliar word,
choose word that the visitor more likely to think of. This will not only help
your ‘advertisement’, but will help your visitor to get the most benefit
out of your article.
3. Choose the topic that has potential and value
There are lots of website out there, and lots of topic. I think
we can just find nearly anything in the internet nowadays. However, not all
topic will have lots of visitor. To get the most benefit or income through PPC,
I highly recommend you to choose topic which has high ‘demand’. Normally
topic which has high demand will give you more visitor to your site and also
more likely that there are more advertisement on the topic. Well, end of the
day you will get the income if there were someone want to advertise this topic
through Google Adwords. If nobody advertise the topic you will not get any
advertisement on your site anyway. That is the reason why sometime (if we
choose 4 advertisement bar from Google) not all the space will fill with the
advertisement.
One more thing that I would like to highlight here is that not
all the ‘word’ will have same rate of payment. Some ‘word’ will pay
less and some word will pay more. Normally the ‘word’ that has high demand
will pay more compared to ‘words’ that has less demand. Therefore, if you
choose the right topic you might get better income even with the same number

4. Provide lots of useful information on your website
Some webmaster choose to put many type of graphic on his site,
but some may not. For me personally, I prefer ‘clean’ website with lots of
information to surf on. If you provide many useful information instead of lots
of graphic, I think more visitor will visit it (if the surfer is looking for
information but this will depend on what category of site that you are in).
One more point that I want to highlight is, I heard that Google will read the
‘word’ instead of ‘picture’, therefore by providing lots of
information it is easier for the program to deliver appropriate advertisement
to you.
Here is how to set up a Google Adsense account.
1. Visit Google adsense site: https://www.google.com/adsense/
Click at ‘click here to apply’ button. You will go to next
site which is Login Information page. Just follow the instruction given and
you will have an account.
2. Copy and paste the code given on your site.
Google will give you some code to copy to your website. Copy and
paste this code as per instruction and upload this page. By now, the
advertisement is displayed on your page.
Do not worry if the advertisement is not appropriate at the first
time. It will be just fine after you refresh the page or reenter the page
later.
After everything is finish, you can just promote your website and encourage
more visitor to visit your site.
